Super easy Chocolate covered pretzels

I was so excited to try this treat out for gifts for all the little kids in out Mommy and Me group as well as the neighbors. It was so easy and they look so fancy!!

Don't they look fantastic!! I am impressed and i made them!

What you need:
Almond Bark- Chocolate and White Chocolate - found @ walmart or your grocery store
Pretzels- Large/ med twist or rod pretzels
Wax paper or cookie sheet to lay them out to cool!!
Cellophane baggies for the treats!

All you do is follow the directions on the Almond bark to heat the Chocolate in Microware or in a double boiler for the stove. Low heat is all you need!

Just dip the pretzels in one and once you have a cookie sheet full, use a spoon to drizzle chocolate over them.  A little goes a long way on this part. I have a few trial and errors on that.

When  you are done package in your baggies with a ribbon  and pass out to your friends. I am attaching my Holiday card to mine as well!!

Hope you liked the idea!

Happy Holidays,

Easy Potato Pancakes or Latkes, Yum yum yum

As tonight is the last night of Hannukah I thought I would share the best easy version of potato pancakes with my followers!! I love the holidays and especially because we celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas, or Chrismakah (as called in our home).

Potato Pancakes can be time consuming and a pain sometimes to make but here is the super easy version
as made by my Mother and I!!

Ingredients

A box of Potato Pancake mix
A package of frozen hash brown potatoes- nothing in them!
Eggs
1 Onion

To Serve with:
Apple Sauce and Sour Cream!

Start by making the box of pancake mix!! Just follow the directions..
Here is what it will look like:

After you make the mix add in the bag of Shredded potatoes, thawed or not! Also add 1 Chopped onion!!

 Looking good yet??? Not quite.

OK, get your saute pan going and add 1/4 inch of oil in the bottom at a medium high heat! Take medium size scoops and start cooking,

Don't put more then 4 in at a time because they are hard to flip!

Your first batch always comes out a mess! Once you get the hang of it they look great! Wait till the edges are golden brown before you turn your latkes!

Yummy golden brown goodness!!

Serve with Apple Sauce and sour cream to dip in!! Please try it so yummy, no ketchup!! It's a sin!!

Hope you like my recipe!
